This is a stainless steel wound string with a black nylon outer wrapping, which causes minimal wear on fretless fingerboards and frets, in addition to a warm, full sound. The high C is made special to my specification with more silk in the winding to make a fatter/fuller high string, so that it maintains the same tone through the whole range.
