Mouse 30 Mahogany #1601. This unique bass features a 2 piece semi-hollow alder body, and rare 1 piece mahogany top, with a beautiful flowing grain pattern. The 30” scale neck is made from reclaimed paduk, which is a very resonant wood, with very good sustain qualities. It is topped with an aged Indian rosewood fingerboard. The line markers in the fingerboard are maple, inset into the rosewood, and sanded flush for a perfectly smooth feel. The bridge is also made from Indian rosewood, matching the fingerboard.

The strings are La Bella 760n, which are a steel core flatwound, with a thin outer layer of black nylon tape. They are very smooth to the touch, and make it easy to play in tune, as you can glide easily to the sweet spot of intonation.

The alder body of this bass gives it a nice midrange fullness, and combined with the paduk neck (which has a fast transient response) results is a warm yet punchy tone.

A locally made (in Los Angeles) G & G form fit hardshell case is included.
