Mouse 30 Koa Short Scale Fretless Bass #1569

Mouse 30 Koa Short Scale Fretless Bass #1569
Mouse 30 Koa #1569- this fine instrument features a semi-hollow alder body, and a gorgeous premium koa top. This particular koa is extremely rich, almost a root beer color, with burnt orange overtones. I acquired this wood about 20 + years ago, and have been saving it for a special instrument, and now the time has come. This is a drop top model sans binding, with a generous arm contour, like some of the early instruments Leo produced in Fullerton, California in the 50’s. The 30” scale neck is made from very lightweight mahogany, with a lined fretless Goncalo Alves fingerboard and matching bridge. The combination of the alder body/koa top, and mahogany neck give this bass a beautiful warm low end and midrange, and a very sweet top end on the notes. This bass comes with a deluxe quality form fit hardshell case
