Mb-2 Walnut #1508. This fine Mb-2 features a semi-hollow alder body, and an eastern black walnut top with the f-hole option and faux tortoiseshell binding. The 34” scale neck is also from eastern black walnut, with a gorgeous striped macasser ebony fingerboard and matching bridge. Strings are Roto Sound Tru Bass 88’s, for a bold and punchy upright style tone that is thick, while still being alive and vibrant. A locally made (in Los Angeles) form fit case rounds out the package.
