Mouse 30 Koa #1600. This instrument features an alder body, with a gorgeous curly koa top. This is old stock, harvested in the 70’s, so it is well seasoned and perfect for instrument making. I bought some very large koa boards many years ago and have been slowing working through the material. The 30” scale neck is made from mahogany, and has a lined Goncalo Alves fingerboard, and matching bridge. The combination of the mahogany neck and alder body, give this bass a full, warm, sonorous tone. A custom made form fit case, made locally in Los Angeles by G & G is included.
