Mouse 30 Ash Fretted Short Scale Bass #1438 (Used)
Mouse 30 Fretted Bass #1438. This unique Mouse features a semi-hollow swamp ash body with an ash top to match with ivoroid binding. Due to the light weight of the swamp ash body and the walnut neck (lighter in weight than maple, but still very stiff), this bass weighs only 5 lbs!! Yet it produces a beautiful full tone, is even throughout the whole range, and has excellent sustain. The 30" scale neck is eastern walnut with a quartersawn rosewood fingerboard, tiny mandolin sized frets, side dots and the integrated thumbrest option.
Condition: the bass is in very good overall condition, with a few small dings and scuffs from standard player wear. Close up photos of the jack area, left side upper bout of the body, and neck back show the blemishes. The other photos of the bass are from the original listing, with the exception of the photo of the bass in the gig bag, which is a recent photo of the instrument.
It has had a recent service/set up and a new set of La Bella 760n strings.
