Mb-2 Walnut #1574. This Mb-2 bass features a semi-hollow swamp ash body with a premium walnut “drop top”. This is a thin top that is steamed and then vacuum pressed onto the body to produce a generous arm contour. This particular walnut has extraordinary warm coloring, and a beautiful open grain quality. The 34” scale neck is made from maple with a lined fretless ebony fingerboard and matching ebony bridge. This instrument also features a Brazilian rosewood overlay on the headstock that provides a complimentary look to the fingerboard. A locally made, custom hard shell case is included.
