Mb-2 Walnut 5 String #1522. This unique Mb-2 bass features a one piece semi-hollow swamp ash body and a one piece walnut top, sans binding. This is a drop top model with a generous arm contour. The thin top wood is steamed so it will bend, then vacuum clamped over the contoured ash body. I love the look of this one-piece walnut, it has a very flowing character to it. The 35” scale neck is from birdseye maple, with a lined fretless Macasser ebony fingerboard and matching bridge. This instrument comes with a deluxe quality gig bag that is highly protective, featuring a light frame built into the construction of the bag. It weighs in just under 6.5 lbs!
